Work-Space Not in Place

I moved my office to my other room because I don't want my customers to hear the dogs bark from outside my apartment. Sometimes the trucks that are being parked outside make a lot of noise in the mornings and afternoons. So I had to spare myself and my customer from the background noise whenever I take calls for my work.

I really would love to work at the "office" because it's more roomy and it really feels like a work space. This other room I'm working at right now has piles of clothes which sometimes distracts me while working.

I am planning to go back to the other room maybe after the wedding and make it my official workplace. I just have to have enough money to make if feel like a workplace with primacoustic installed so that the noise from outside the office space will not be heard each time I take calls. I have to have enough budget for that. It's going to be a side project for now because me and my fiance are saving money for the wedding. We will have that plan worked out after our wedding.

For now, I will be contented making the other room my work-space and the office our temporary bedroom. I will make final decisions about my work-space and bedrooms after the wedding. So help us, God! :)

For Everything, I Am Grateful!

Earlier we celebrated our Church's Children's Worship Service (Pagsamba Ng Kabataan) Annual Thanksgiving day.

The Church was filled with little boys and girls, some were accompanied by their parents, all dressed up for the occasion.

I was one of the teachers who delivered the sermon. It really was one of those moments I treasure most. I feel blessed that God has bestowed to me the gift to teach the younger generation to help strengthen their Faith and love for the Church and of course, love for the Almighty God.

This year's Thanksgiving day is extra special because it probably would be the last time I will have the opportunity to be at the pulpit and teach the little ones. After marriage, female teachers for Children's Worship Service like myself will not have the opportunity to teach the children at church anymore because we will have to take care of our household. There are still a lot of other church obligations I can choose from besides teaching the kids to keep myself active at our church locale. I'm looking forward to other church obligation but I will certainly miss being a teacher of God's words.

There are a lot of things that I thank God for this year. All throughout the year, he has blessed me and helped me in times of trials. He has never forsaken me. The best blessing that he gave me this year is that he answered my fervent prayer, to finally meet the love of my life and soon to be husband. I'm claiming it! LOL! I am getting married very soon, Thank God! And for everything else that is happening in my life right now, I am so grateful!

I Will Always Be A Fan Of Kuerdas Band

Kuerdas band is a homegrown band that has become famous locally in GenSan and in nearby towns. They have performed in many different places lately and has been in and out of Island of Boracay. I am really proud to say that I was part of this band years back. And I have seen my cousins and the band itself grow and the artists evolved as real performers.

Members were also in and out. Some members removed themselves from the band for personal reasons but the band leader, Jayson was able to easily find replacements for them. I'm not exactly sure if they had a member who played the oboe. He must have lost his oboe reeds that's why he's no longer with the band. But Kuerdas has 2 wind instrument players who seemed to add flavor in the group.

I call them cute mascots because they seem to look like twins. LOL! They have choreography on stage that kept audience entertained. Well of course, their choreography did not overpower Mark's charm on stage. As a cousin, I think I'm obliged to say that Mark's performance captivate the crowd, as always. :D

Anyway, being at the background or being just one of the audience from crowd doesn't make me really feel envious with my former band's fame nowadays. I'm just glad that I had lasting memories with Kuerdas band. I will always be a fan!
