Candy Crushing

When I was in college, it was the time that playing online games is getting popular in our province. Most of my classmates spend most of their allowance and especially their precious time renting one of the computers in a cyber cafe just to feed their addiction to the games. I feel bad for them and their parents, of course. I'm just glad that I never thought about wanting to play online games with them. Or else, my mom will not forgive me. :) And I've been really busy with other more important things back then.

I vowed to never play online games. Not until recently.

My boyfriends android phone is full of games he downloaded whenever he's online. And when we're together and we don't really have a lot to do, he let me play some of the games. He introduced me to Candy Crush. And voila! We fight over his phone usage because I can't get my hand off of it anymore. Lol. So I downloaded the game on my phone.

So I broke my vow and have been playing the game most of the time. The truth is, it really is wasting a lot of my precious time. :) But I know for a fact that I'm gonna get over the game pretty soon. I won't get addicted to it, I promise.

Bring The Fab Bod Back!

Whenever I don't have enough to do at work or if I'm on break, I normally browse the internet and always end up reading news about health - specifically on articles about weight loss. A lot of these articles talk about eating less, chewing on whole grain foods, including variety of fruits on your diet, etc.,  and of course doing some form of exercises. I do follow most of the advises on how to lose weight except doing latter part. I know most of you may think I'm just making an excuse, but I really don't have time to exercise. And to tell you the truth, sometimes I can't help my cravings. :D

Alright, alright... I have become lazy doing exercises because for me, the safe and effective way to exercise (especially here in Manila) is being in a gym. Scumbags are anywhere on the streets of Manila. I just don't feel safe running around by myself. Unlike being in a gym, you have the right equipment, and since you're paying for it, you have to do everything to see results. I know a lot of you would agree to what I just said. And that worked for me a couple of years back. Money is just tight right now that's why I couldn't go back to the gym yet.

My friends and I are planning a getaway in El Nido resorts in Palawan few months from now. I'm already getting anxious about that vacation. I don't want to be showing off tummy flab's on the pictures, of course. And I'm keeping my fingers crossed about being able to enroll in a gym sometime soon since I also have to save money for that dream vacation at the same time. What a dilemma! I guess I have to find other ways on how to suppress appetite naturally without spending that much and putting my health at risk. I will eat less yet healthy and purchase a pair of running of shoes. I guess I have to push myself to I opt on running or jogging on the streets of Metro Manila. And just for me to feel safe, I'll run along with my boyfriend. He badly need some form of exercises himself. :)

I better stop making excuses this time so I can bring that fabulous bod back!

The Stubborn Laptop

So I haven't really been online lately. Blame it to my computer. This laptop is really acting up lately and I'm on the brink of replacing it to a new one. The problem is, I don't have money that I can use to replace this freaking computer. Sigh.

I miss my Dell laptop computer. The one that was stolen a couple of years back. I really didn't have that much problems with that computer. And I can just reformat it whenever I want back then. With this one I have now? I lost the driver CD that's why I can't do anything about it but wait until it finally give up on me.

Just recently, I received an email from one of the HR staffs at work informing us of a privilege being an employee in our company. The email stated that we can avail discounted rates in purchasing Dell computers from selected malls and branches. There were several good deals that if only I have the money to buy, I would have gone to one of the branches as soon as I got the email. Unfortunately, all I did was look at those nice laptops. And wished I can take one of them home. LOL!

But I promise myself that early next year, I would be able to have enough savings so I can afford a new laptop. There are a lot of opportunities online that I kept missing because of this stubborn laptop. :D It keeps giving me an excuse for not doing my online chores!
