In Awe Of Les Miserables!

So my friend Irene came over my house and watched Les Miserables. I don't have a choice but watch the movie again. And guess what? I got the same reaction when I first watched the movie myself - in total AWE.

Actors Hugh Jackman (Jan Valjean) and Russel Crowe (Javert) did a great job playing their roles. They just made me fall in love with both of them all over again. The women - Anne Hathaway (Fantine) and Amanda Seyfried (Cosette) were not only gorgeous. They proved to me that they both have singing prowess! I was definitely surprised that Amanda can sing! LOL!

I actually haven't watched a musical. This is my first time to have seen a musical and it's in a film. I like it better because the emotions are felt by the audience such as myself since the words were not only said. They were sang.

I would love to watch some more musical in the future. I just hope I'd be able to get a ticket for free or not that expensive, though.

Here's a plot of the movie Les Miserables courtesy of imdb.com:

In 19th-century France, Jean Valjean, who for decades has been hunted by the ruthless policeman Javert after he breaks parole, agrees to care for factory worker Fantine's daughter, Cosette. The fateful decision changes their lives forever.

I don't want to be a spoiler so I won't get into details of the movie. I want you all to watch the movie yourself and appreciate it. Happy viewing! :)

Proud To Be A Customer Service Rep!

One of the best thing that happened to me at work last night was when I felt that one of my customer appreciated the service that I provided to him. I was just being natural about providing all the information he needed while I had him on the phone. I think I exceeded his expectation and did a good job on that call.

I've been a customer service representative for years now and I'm proud of being one. I really feel good about being able to help customers out. The appreciation of what I was able to do for them are just an addition. I always take pride in what I do as a customer service representative and will continue to do my job the best I can! :)

Thank you for calling!

My Kiddo's New Toy

My boyfriend completed purchasing his new set of toy last week. It's not a car nor was it a gaming software. He's fond of sound systems. And he's been talking to me about completing it since the day we met. Now he made his dream come true. I'm so proud of my Kiddo.

He's planning to make some profits out of the big boxes. He'll have it rented on events. Hopefully he really would be able to profit from it. Right now he's busy studying the technicalities of the sound system he bought. I'm just worried that he'd keep on buying some more accessories and even a Toontrack. If he does, I hope he can get something not too expensive anymore. LOL!

Forever Friends... With Or Without Makeup

With Make Up

Or

 Without Make Up

I was about to just post this pictures of my friend, Irene and I being friends with or without the make up when I thought about picking up a quote online to somehow describe the type of friendship that we have. And then I came across this wonderful quote and I can rather say this is what our friendship is about:

Sometimes in life, you find a special friend. Someone who changes your life just by being part of it. Someone who makes you laugh until you can't stop. Someone who makes you believe that there really is good in the world. Someone who convinces you that there really is an unlocked door just waiting for you to open it. This is forever friendship. When you're down and the world seems dark and empty, your forever friend lifts you up in spirit and makes that dark and empty world suddenly seem bright and full. Your forever friend gets you through the hard times, the sad times an dthe confused times. If you turn and walk away, your forever friend follows. If you lose your way, your forever friend guides you and cheers you on. Your forever friend hold your hand and tells you that everything is going to be okay. And if you find such a friend, you feel happy and complete because you need not worry. You have a forever friend, and forever has no end. - Unknown

Touching, isn't it? This is one of those quotes that makes you say - Ahhh...

To you, my friend Irene, we're forever friends with or without the makeup, aight? :D

Aiming For A Part Time Job

I was browsing websites last month because I was interested in getting myself employed in a company that offer home-based jobs. I even submitted my resume to one of the companies when I realized that I'm not even ready for that kind of job. My laptop is crappy, my internet connection unreliable, built-in camera on my laptop not working and I haven't purchased a headset that I can use for the job yet. Shame on me. So up until now, I still haven't completed my application.

I still would like to join that company just as a part time job. I'm interested in the job offer and the job itself. I wonder how employer check how their employees work. Do they also use inetsoft.com for a reporting engine? I will find out soon for sure. I have to fix my computer problems first before I sit for an interview with them.

Site Cleaning Up On Hold

At last! I'm cleaning up my blogs! LOL! For this blog, I'm actually in the process. I just didn't have internet connection at home yesterday that's why the cleaning up is put on hold. But I'm very much done procrastinating. Once my internet is back up and running, I'll continue the not-so-tedious online chore. :D

For this blog, I started cleaning up the labels. I began by counting how many labels I got for this site. And guess what? I got 128 labels! LOL! I usually doubt myself about which articles are suppose to be under what label. Now it's down to only 54. Congratulations to me for doing a great job!

I really hope and pray that I can make use of my internet today. Or else I will have to wait for a technician to come over and fix it.

Missing Brandon

It was raining when I left my hometown last Monday. I guess the weather was patronizing how I felt that day.  Leaving home always make me feel sad especially that I also will be leaving my very lovable nephew, Brandon.

As I donned on my north face fleece jacket that rainy morning and walked out our door with my brother and nephew Brandon, I had this thought to myself, "when am I coming back again and finally settle home?". I really wanted to be with my family although sometimes I have arguments with my Mom. I think that's pretty easier to handle now that I'm a grown up. My mom needs me now that she's getting older. And my beloved nephew who's mom is overseas. I know he also needed extra love and attention from me.

My brother and Brandon accompanied me, my cousin Michelle and her husband as we went to the airport in GenSan. Brandon was already anxious because he was aware that I'm leaving again. Poor boy. I'm glad he didn't cry when I finally turned my back from them and checked in for my flight. I just heard him say, "Tita Ayena!". Geez! I'm missing his cute little voice!

All I can do right now is look at his pictures from my phone and play the videos I took of Brandon when I was back home. Sigh.
