Up And Away To El Nido

I have been wanting to go back to Palawan. My first trip in that majestic place was a couple of years back in Puerta Prinsesa. I just couldn't forget about the white sands, the green and blue sea water, the snorkeling experience and a lot more. So I promised to go back.

This time I went with a couple of friends, Irene and Mae and my boyfriend. It was Jun's first time to go out of town on a plane so I made sure that it's memorable for him. El Nido was for me, the best place to take him on his first plane ride.

Excited to board on the plane!

A kiss for his first plane ride! :)

My boyfriend is so cute, isn't he? :D

We left Manila at about 5 o'clock in the afternoon and arrived in Puerto Prinsesa Airport at about 7 o'clock in the evening. We were picked up by the van shuttle I booked a few weeks back which took us to El Nido. It was an exhausting 6-hour drive. Yeah, El Nido is that far from Puerto Prinsesa. There's no domestic flight direct to El Nido so we have to endure the long drive.

We arrived safely at Lugadia Beach Cottages in the middle of the night. The van dropped us right in front of the resort entrance where the son of the owner waited patiently. The nice thing about the beach cottage I booked was it was just along the highway and of course, right in front of the beach.

As we were on our way to our cottage after checking in, we can hear the inviting sound of the sea waves. Ah! We all can't wait for sunrise!
