Happy 4th Birthday Lajon!

I was at Baby Lajon's birthday party yesterday. He has just turned 4 years old but he definitely look like he's 6 or 7. He's big baby boy! He's still a baby to us! He's the son of Julie, a very good friend of mine. He's just so adorable and sweet! I just love it when I visit him at their home and play with him.

Here's how he look like now. A baby boy who doesn't look like his age! LOL!

The birthday boy...

Posing with Lajon's mom, Julie.

And the ever supportive Judith! :D

Happy birthday Lajon! I hope you'll grow up as a good boy to your Mama and Papa. Thanks for the sumptuous food that I divulged in at your party yesterday! It's nice seeing you growing up, baby boy! Mwah!

Bad Weather At First Day

My first day at work was kind of boring. I really didn't do a lot of work last night. There was no classroom training yet but I was introduced to my new colleagues. It was a friendly atmosphere over there. I have a nice supervisor. It doesn't feel like I'm in a call center industry at all, thank goodness! I got my own desk. Wider than the ones I had with previous companies I worked at. I love it! And I'm gonna be using a laptop over there. :D

It was a feat when I was on my way to the office last night. The rain was relentless and I really had a hard time traveling and walking down the streets of EDSA.

It's still raining so hard today. Typhoon Falcon hasn't left the country yet and already caused havoc on some places here in Manila. Classes are already suspended and there's flooding on the lower parts of Metro Manila and other provinces.

I hope the typhoon will leave the country soon so we will be back to our normal lives. I don't want to go to work dressed up yet all wet. I have to buy a new umbrella later today. The one I had last night was destroyed by the storm. Sigh!

Happy Birthday Irene! :D

A friend of mine celebrated her birthday a few minutes ago. It's past 12 midnight now as I'm writing this, so basically her birthday has already passed just about 5 minutes ago. :D

Haha! Teary eyes! :P

Irene and I have been friends for just a few months now but it feels like we were already friends a long time ago. She just turned 25 years old. She's like a little sister to me. She's sweet, thoughtful and she's fun to be with. There's never a dull moment when we are together. We work hand in hand in some Church obligations together with our friends. Needless to say, we see each other almost everyday.

Dear Irene,

Thank you for the friendship and for sacrificing your sleep just to help out in our Church activities. Thanks for being crazy! LOL! Your wit is really one of a kind! Thanks for always making us laugh. Thanks very much for all your help. May your love to God never fail. I know He sees all the good things that you're doing For him and for His Church. He will bless you with a fruitful and a happy life. Just keep that "FIRE" burning and He will never fail to listen to all your prayers.

Thanks for being kind of a little sister to me. Thanks for the friendship! Love ya, Ka Irene!

Father's Day Thoughts...

Tomorrow is Father's Day. I'm ready to greet some friends that I know are Dads. Or send friends text messages asking them to greet their fathers for me.

Whenever this time of the year comes along, I can't help but be a bit emotional. My Dad has passed away eleven years ago. It's been a long time. It's just sad because whenever I think of my Dad, there were more bitter memories than sweet ones.

I wasn't a good daughter when he was alive. I don't know why I was that rebellious and never gave myself a chance to be closer to him. There must have been moments that we somehow tried to bridge the gap but the rebel in me always get in the way. I remember there was a time I was about to give him a Happy Father's Day card. It was supposed to be my first time to give him something like that. It was filled with I LOVE YOU's and THANK YOU's written on it. When the day came that I was about to hand him the card, we had a big fight. I was so angry at him that I took the card and turned it into a HATE card. I gave it to him to let him know how angry I was and didn't care how he would feel. I must have hurt him real bad. Who would want a daughter who gives a Dad a hate letter?

I always have regrets whenever I think of my Dad. If he's only alive and knew me as what I am now - not a rebel but a good child. If only we had a chance to do a Father-Daughter talk. If only I can turn back the hands of time.

Well, it's too late for me to say all these. He won't be able to hear nor see me anymore. But it's not yet late for you who's Dad is still alive. Give him gifts that he deserve may it be from Personal Creations gifts for Father's Day or from the shopping malls. Give him a hug and tell him that you love him before it's too late. Don't live life with regrets.

Happy Father's Day to you, Tatay... Same goes to all the Fathers out there.

Men And Gadgets

I'm really not into gadgets. Even as a kid, I don't really mess with technical stuff even if it's play station or jeux ps3. Not that I don't want to own any of them. I just don't want to get addicted to the games that are stored on those gadgets. I don't want my time as well to be wasted in just playing games. :D

I have friends who sort of collect gadgets. Most of them are men. I have a friend right now who really wanted to own a ps3 but doesn't have the money to buy one for himself. If I'm only rich, I will buy him that piece of gadget as gift for his birthday. Unfortunately, I'm not rich. LOL!

I don't know why most guys love gadgets. Most of them can afford to spend the whole day with those gadgets even with their friends around. They seem like they have their own world when they have a ps3 on their hands.

Off To Processing Job Requirements

I'd be training for the new job next week but I haven't completed my pre-employment requirements yet. Now I have an excuse for not being able to complete them. I'm not just procrastinating. LOL! I've been sick yesterday because of Urinary Tract Infection but I was able to complete my medical exam requirement. There are just some few government agencies that I have to visit to complete all other requirements. Sigh. I just hate processing government papers because I'm sure I will have to deal with grumpy employees and will have to get in line in long queues. I don't have any choice though. Or else I won't get hired if I don't complete the requirements.

I better get myself prepared for processing prerequisites. I should stop procrastinating today.

I hope you guys have a wonderful Thursday ahead!

Bridal Shower On Pre-weddings

On the weddings I attended this year, I haven't experienced having a bridal shower for both my cousins' weddings. Probably, they were too busy preparing for the wedding, no one has thought of organizing a bridal shower or a bachelor party for them. I actually haven't been in any bridal showers that's why I'm curious how that thing goes. :)

It makes me wonder if I'd be able to experience that on my own pre-wedding. LOL! In that way, I can ask my friends to buy adult costumes and be a bit naughty during the bridal shower!

What an imagination! It's good to be thinking adult and naughty sometimes, don't you agree? LOL!

Thinking About Being A Mom... :)

I love babies! Whenever I see one, I can't help but cuddle or just touch him or her. They are just so adorable! Makes me think about having my own baby. Sigh. How would I be able to do that in the near future when I'm not even in a relationship? :D

I don't know but I'm anxious of being in a relationship. I'm scared of opening myself up to someone in the opposite sex. I'm scared of getting hurt all over again. I've been through that before, many times, actually. I've seen my friends get pregnant and was questioned about who got her pregnant. The guy wouldn't believe her until she told him about paternity test while pregnant! Darn this men! It's really scary putting your heart to someone who's not worth it. It's just devastating that I don't want to go through that at all. I know I have to pray to God for Mr. Right but I think I'm not ready for even just praying for him.

I'm thinking about adoption. I told my Mom about my plan that if ever I don't get married at the age of 32, that I'm going to adopt a baby. I was surprised when she said, "Why wait when I can do it now?". She meant while I'm younger. LOL! It made me laugh. I told her I'm not ready yet and I don't even have a job yet! Oh well, my Mom was just being silly again.

Babies are just angels, you know. I know it wouldn't be easy. I just want to be able to take care and raise a child. And know how it feels to be a Mother, myself. :)

Medical And Other Job Requirements

I'll have another medical exam today. It's one of the requirements for my new job. I just had one five months ago for my previous job. Now I have to go through it again. Sigh. I hope this time they won't ask me to do something gross like the one I had before.

I really don't care if I have to process all my requirements for the new job. I just want to finish everything up so I can start working. I'm really getting bored already and I miss receiving my paycheck! LOL! I wanna buy the things I want for myself especially if it's like Easter sale at the malls or if there are good offers I can take advantage online.

June 20 is my tentative start date for training. I hope everything is going to go well. I can't afford to be jobless for another month! :)

Facilitated A Church Gathering

Last Sunday's Church activity was very exhausting. As the leader of the group, we were tasked to facilitate a Get-Together of young people at Church (the Kadiwa). There were a lot of preparations done. It was actually my first time to take charge of a program and it wasn't really an easy task. With the help of my group mates and other Church mates, the event was a success. It was just a simple gathering but we somehow made it special.

We prepared food for our visitors and guests which I think they enjoyed. We really didn't a stage since it was just a little gathering so we didn't have to use thrust bearings for the facilities. We just needed some chairs and a sound system. We were a bit in a hurry during the program because there are other activities that some of us have to attend to but we had fun because we prepared some games which our Church mates participated at.

Being the organizer, there were some things that I discussed with my group when the program ended. I am very much thankful to their help. The program was a success because each of us did our part and worked as a team. Thank you guys, BIG time!

I Have Chosen! :D

I just got off an interview with the home-based job. I realize that I'd be better off taking the corporate job which is going to give me a job offer tomorrow at the office. I hope they're going to offer a better salary and benefits.

Home-based job could be far more beneficial and convenient but I can't wait to be able to work as soon as possible because I'm running out of money already. :D I don't wanna be borrowing money from my Mom who also takes care of my brothers' finances. I don't want to be an additional burden to her.

I'm glad I was able to make up my mind. I have chosen the job for me. I promise to do better this time!

Tomorrow is another day, a brighter a one!

Thank you, Lord for all the blessing! You are so good to me. :D

Work Options And Decisions...

I want to share 2 good news to you this Wednesday morning! I'm just happy although I know these good news are going to make me choose which would be the right choice!

Last night, I had an interview through Skype for a home-based job. I passed and will be moving on to the next interview. That will be tomorrow with the owner of the company I'll be working for. I have been thinking about working at home because it's convenient for me. Don't you agree? I mean, I won't have to waste my time preparing myself to go to work and I also won't have to deal with the traffic on my way to and from work. I'll just be home working even with my PJs on!

The other good news is, I passed the interview for a corporate job. The salary is higher and I'll be working with different people. The job is more challenging but I will have to take a bus at night worrying about getting robbed on the streets or on the bus. :D

I think I have already made a decision based on what I just said but I still have to weigh my options. This is for my future. I hope I'll make the right decision. So help me, God.
