Isn't it nice? Love it! Thanks dear cuz! Congratulations to your successful contest! See ya tomorrow!!!

I Am My Mom's Masseuse

When I was a kid, I was used to giving my Mom a massage almost every day. She's a very hard working Mom and it gets her relaxed whenever she gets a massage from us, her kids. My younger brother and I were able to learn how to give a good massage because of her. That's basically why up until now, I'm proud of saying that that's one of the many skills I have. Sometimes it make me think about getting a massage therapy program so I can enhance my skill. In that way, if ever I decide to work abroad, I can add it on my resume. I can be a very good masseuse for sure!

My Mom has been sick lately. I miss talking to her and giving her a good massage. I'll make sure to make it up to her when I get home this weekend. :D

A Date And About Friday's Flight... :D

I just got home. I met up with my friend Raquel at the mall today. She helped me out buy some clothes and accessories for this weekend's wedding. I am so thankful that she was with me. If not for her, I wouldn't be able to buy the things I need in a very reasonable price!

Raquel used to be my roommate last year. She has to move out when she got married but remain friends. We seldom see each other. We just get in touch through the social networking site and through text messaging. I'm glad we were able to find the time to finally spend time together today.

I have everything I need for this weekend. I'm so excited about the wedding/homecoming! :D Lainy told me that the wedding reception is going to take place in a mansion. I wonder who's mansion was rented. Since the party is in the evening and it's gonna be an outdoor reception, I bet the house have outdoor lighting fixtures. I also hope it has a pool so we can also go swimming. I can't wait to see everybody! Friday, please hurry! :D

Swimming With The Kadiwa

When I quit my job last Wednesday, I was a little worried about what's going to happen to me. I was a little scared but when I went for Church service on Thursday evening and heard God's words about Him being my refuge and strength, I came back to my senses. As what a verse from the Bible say: I sought the Lord, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears (Psalm 34:4). Why will I fear when I know that the Lord is with me?

After the service, my friends at Church invited me to go swimming with them. I didn't think twice about saying yes because I just wanted to have a good time. We went to Villa Buenaflor Resort which is located in Cavite (it's more than an hour ride from Pasay).

We arrived late at the resort. I was still a bit tired when we got their but I still had time to jam with the guys since I brought along my guitar. When I became exhausted, I was already looking around, trying to find a place to sleep. There was no room rented, just a cottage which I didn't mind. While most of my companions enjoyed chitchatting around the bonfire, I found a place at the side, laid flat on the sand right below the stars and the moon and the cold breeze. I was off to la-la-land! :D

They woke me up early the next day. We had breakfast and after which, we went along the seashore and played Patintero! It's a Filipino game which is played in 2 groups. I felt like a child again when I was playing with them! I bonded with most of my Church mates and really had fun! There were a lot of pictures taken later the day. Here are some of them:

Catch me if you can! hahaha!

The boys...

The girls...

The Us! LOL!

And finally... The ME! :D

This is basically my first summer get-away for 2011. I hope there are more to come! :D

Excited For Jayson's Wedding

I'm now excited about coming home to GenSan this Friday. I'll be attending my cousin, Jayson's wedding. I'm only going to be staying there for 3 days and I'll flying back here in Manila on Monday. It would be nice if I can stay a little longer but I've already bought tickets sometime ago and was able to take advantage of a plane ticket sale. Besides, I still have to get myself a job.

I don't want to miss Kuya Jayson's. He has been one of those special people that's always going to be part of my life. Not only is he my cousin who's like a big brother to me, he's also my confidante during some dark days of my life. And of course, we shared a lot of good times together with the Kuerdas family.

Now that he's getting married, I won't miss it for the world! I want to see him finally tie the knot and put the ring on to his soon-to-be wife. I hope the ring he bought for Shane is one of those everlon diamonds. It would really be a nice peace of jewelry for their wedding!

I bet Lainy and the Kuerdas family are now busy preparing for the wedding. Too bad I wasn't there to help. Jayson requested me to be theur wedding singer on his reception which I gladly accepted. I'll do my best to do my part well.

Jobless But Not Worried

Yeah, I'm jobless again, right now. As what I've mentioned on my other blog, I quit my job last Wednesday. I'm just being myself. I really can't handle the pressure from that job and I don't want to be humiliated for not being able to do my job well. I think I mess it up again but I'm going to make sure I'll fix this. I'm going to find a job soon. I hope I could find one not hard enough for me to do. :D

Since I'm jobless, I'm trying to cut down my spending. Whenever I'm in this situation, I sometimes regret about my previous spending and hoped I just saved my money for times like this. Or maybe I should have just invested my money to something of worth like being able to buy gold online which I can, maybe, resell. Not exactly a ridiculous idea, isn't it?

Right now, I'm eying on a home-based job which will not require me to travel just to get to the office. I won't have to deal with the traffic and won't have to be always in a hurry to punch in on time. I hope I can find one this week before I go home.

It's funny because even though I'm jobless, I'm not at all worried. I know God is going to guide me and help me find that job. :D

Charice Is Back In Glee

A Night of Neglect is Glee's 17th episode which I have been anticipating. I was glad Glee is back this week with our very own Charice Pempengco. I was so excited when I turned the t.v. on last night.

On this episode, McKinley High glee club New Directions made a concert to raise fund for a fellow extracurricular activity group. Sunshine Corazon (Charice) was supposed to be performing on the concert since she auditioned and even made her rendition of the song "All By Myself" by Celine Dion. Unfortunately, she backed out.

I like the song sang by Holly Holiday (Gwyneth Paltrow) called "Turning Tables" which is sang originally by Adele. It was her final appearance and I got a little bit disappointed about it. But it was one of the best songs I heard her sing.

I actually wasn't really paying much attention to the whole episode because I have a lot of things in my mind last night. I'm just glad to have seen Charice back in GLEE! :D

My Sexy Best Friend

My best friend, Czarina, has been posting a lot of her new pictures in Facebook. I miss her a lot and she seems to be having a great time with her new friends. I am also pleased to see that my best friend is back to being sexy! LOL! She gained weight the last time we saw each other when I visited her in Davao a few months back. But now... Oh lala! She's going to make the guys all the more crazy about her! :D Maybe she got tired of my prodding and teasing. She also doesn't want to look bigger than me when we get together. She told me she read some reviews online like sensa reviews and took the advices about losing weight effectively from there.

Here's my ever pretty Best Friend!:D

I'm happy for her and I hope to see her on my homecoming.

Dellingkwentes at Facebook

My friends back in Pampanga created a group in Facebook called Dellingkwentes. I was amazed at how a lot us who used to work for Dell were able to respond when we were requested to join in. There were funny comments and a lot of reminiscing which made it all fun! We talk about the scripts we say for our Dell customers. I can hardly remember what else I tell the customer in order to sell the products that we have to sell. There was even someone who talked about funny calls like the ones we take for a male enhancing product called Extenze. The script that we are obliged to read to our callers still make me laugh whenever I remember it. I don't remember telling the customer any extenze side effects because we just have to tell them the advantage of taking the pills.

There were a lot of great memories back in Cyber City in Clarksfield, Pampanga. I have made a lot of good friends. Although we don't communicate that often anymore, I'm glad we have the social networking site so we can somehow update friends with what is now going on with our lives.

Happy About ME..:D

Achieving my desired weight loss is a feat. Especially when I started working out. I had to have the determination to burn the unwanted calories and reduce weight. At first, what really encouraged me to lose weight is my participation as a bridesmaid at my cousin, Michelle's wedding. I just wanted to look and feel really good about myself. I realized that I really have gained weight and it isn't right. So I decided to make a change. LOL! There were a lot power drinks consumed on my first few months of working out. If I knew about creatine products at that time, I would've taken one as well.

Anyway, I am going to be a bridesmaid again at another cousin's wedding. It's my Kuya Jayson who is Lainy's brother who's going to get married come this 30th of April. I'm excited about this event. And I am happy that finally my beloved cousin is going to tie the knot.

I still have few more days to work out. I am slimmer now but still haven't got my body toned yet. The gym instructor told me that I won't have to be spending a lot time doing cardio exercises. I just have to concentrate on toning.

Here are the latest pictures of yours truly. LOL! I don't want to sound boastful but I'm just happy I was able to reach my desired body weight and figure!

Finally, me! :D

Wish Me Luck On A Monday...

I have been so lazy this weekend. There wasn't much activities at Church which I already didn't get used to. I just end up sleeping most of the day and night! So unproductive of me!

I even woke up late this morning and didn't hit the gym. I seldom workout lately and I feel like I'm wasting the money I spent for the gym. I don't want to be like this all the time. I actually miss working out but my laziness gets in the way. Sigh. How would I be able to have my tummy toned if I always feel lazy? :D I really wanted to have my abs firmed a little bit. Will taking natural testosterone booster help me achieve that dream body? :D I guess so. But I still want to try and do it the most natural way. The abs exercises and whatever equipment I can use in the gym.

Oh well, it's a Monday. It's the first day of the week and I'm gonna to be at work later tonight. Sigh. I hope it's going to be all well when I get to the office tonight. Wish me luck on a Monday!

Better Left Unsaid... :(

The words on these video somehow say whatever it is that I feel right now. Although I'm now feeling a lot better and have to let go of the "feeling". Okay, I'll tell you what. Just these past few weeks, I think I felt infatuated with someone but I have to let him go and let go of the feeling that I have for him. Why? Because... LOL! I don't really wanna tell you why! I don't think he knew how I felt for him. It's better left unsaid, I guess. I don't want to ruin our friendship. :D

Anyway, there's one phrase here on the video that I really like:

In this lifetime, I won't get to have you,
I'll make sure that if I meet you in my next life
I won't have to think twice on saying that
I've waited a lifetime to say I love you...

Aww.. I'm still a hopeless romantic, aren't I? Well, here's the video which has Aiza Seguerra's song as the background music entitled "Pakisabi Na Lang".

An Extraordinary Birthday Celebration

I turned 28 years old last Friday, April 8. I didn't have an extravagant celebration but I did have an extraordinary one!

I was greeted by my workmates just before the eve of my birthday. I was at work so I got series of silly emails from my colleagues. We had pizza for lunch which I bet they enjoyed (I hope!).

My Kuerdas family (Lainy, Jayson, Ate Nimfa and the rest of the gang) also bombarded me with text messages. They were all awake, actually, haven't slept yet and waited for my birthday. Sweet, isn't it? I really miss them and I'm excited about my homecoming on Jayson's wedding day!

After work, I went to Church to pray and in a few hours set off to visit Church mates. I was with Ka Irene, Ka Jonnel and Ka Al, my Church friends. Ka Jonnel made it all special because he dedicated a prayer for me after we're done visiting Church mates. I don't cook although I wanted to with a le creuset cookware, but I didn't have time so we went out and had lunch at Mang Inasal. I had fun with them. If only I had enough energy, I would have kept myself awake the whole day and spent more time with them! Unfortunately, I still have to go to work in the evening. So I had to sleep. I still was able to do another work for God before I went to work.

My family celebrated my birthday as well. I was glad they had some sort of a bonding moment with my nephew.

My birthday was extraordinary because it was my first time to celebrate it by doing my Church obligations. It was an amazing feeling being able to serve our Almighty.

Thank you, Lord for my wonderful life. Thank you for my friends and family who love me. Thank you, most of all, for Your unconditional love. May You continue to bless me and may You continue to make me a blessing to everyone. I give You back all the glory and honor, Amen.

Happy 30th Anniversary Malibay Locale!

It was our Church locale's 30th Anniversary yesterday. There was a very nice program prepared for every member of the congregation in our locale. It was a beautiful musical program where we had the Tabernacle Choir as guests. They sang beautiful songs. I tell you, whenever they render a song, each songs is breathtaking! We were just not allowed to take pictures and video of them performing. I can just tell you how amazing they were!

Anyway, I also participated in the program. I sang 2 songs with a friend who played the guitar. There were other participants who sang and our locale's Choir members who also had their part. It was one of the most fun activities this year.

Here are some pictures of me and friends after the program:

A happy day indeed! :D

Saving For Special Events... :D

As I was planning on putting more money on my savings account, here comes a lot of unexpected events that I have to spend my money on. I'm not complaining at all. They are important events and I really want to be part of it.

First, my birthday bash. It's going to be a few days from today. I still don't have a concrete plan on how I'll be celebrating it. My first plan was going to Baguio City. I have a friend who lives there and is more than willing to be my companion/tour guide for 2days. Or I'll just buy some food and celebrate with friends here from Church. I'm not really sure which of these I'll pursue. I'll think about it until my birthday then! LOL! I really can't make up my mind as of now.

Second, my favorite cousin's (JaySon's) wedding day which doesn't have a date yet. He told me they're planning to have it on May 1st. I hope it gets approved because I can only come home to GenSan on weekends which is my off from work. As much as I would like to extend and make it a vacation so I can spend more time with them, I can't. I don't have enough vacation leave credits yet since I'm a newbie on my job. I'll just make the most of my 2days with them, though.

So far those are the special events this month that I have to prepare for. It doesn't include my other personal expenses and oh, the gifts for kids Easter baskets! I almost forgot about that! :D

I'm really glad that lately, I have been receiving a lot of blessings. I'm so thankful! All to God's glory! :D
