I'm Home Sweet Home!

I'm home! Well, not exactly at my house. :D I'm at Lainy's home right now, as usual, my first stop. I always consider her home one of my homes! LOL

It was an exhausting trip. My flight was bound from Manila to Davao. I arrived in Davao at 8:30 in the evening. My best friend, Czarina, came to fetch me. I wasn't able to catch the last trip of the bus that'll take me to GenSan so I spent the night at Czarina's apartment.

I woke up early for the about 3-hour ride from Davao to GenSan. It was exhausting because my baggage was heavy. Although there were people who helped with the bags. I just can't travel lightly, can I?

I wasn't able to see my Mom yet. She at a different town. Maybe I'll see her tomorrow or at Michelle's wedding. I have a lot of things to do.

Lainy and I are going to fit the dresses for the wedding, practice some songs that I'll be singing at the wedding, go to Church this afternoon. Tomorrow is rehearsal day at the Church where Michelle and Jon will take their vows. It's a pretty hectic schedule! :D

Have a great Sunday everyone!!!

Will Meet With High School Friends

I just chatted with my high school friend in Facebook a few minutes ago. He told me that we're going to get together with other friends tomorrow. I got a bit excited because I haven't seen them in years now. I wonder how they look like now. I bet most of them are married now. I can't wait to see them. I wonder if anyone of them is going to showcase a car with brake pads. :D I hope they're the same cool classmates I used to know back in high school. Some may have changed but we'll see! I'm excited about tomorrow! :D

I am really, really happy today!!! Words can't explain my happiness. You get the picture, right? LOL!

My vacation leave was approved for 10 days!!! I'll get to spend time with my family, relatives and friends back in the province! God is really good all the time! Thank you so much, dear Lord!

I'm getting ready to pack my bags for my flight on Saturday! Haha! I know I'm 2 days early. I'm just so excited and I can't hide it!

Yahoooooo! GenSan, here I come! :D

Michelle and Her Upcoming Wedding

My cousin Michelle's wedding is gonna be on Tuesday. Everybody in the family are excited about it. We are finally gonna see her in a beautiful wedding dress, walking down the isle, maybe teary eyed or so. Just like what I see on movies. :D

I love my cousin very much and I'm really happy for her. This is one event of the year that I wouldn't want to miss. That's why I was so glad that my vacation got approved.
I know nothing is going to change between the two of us even though she's going to change her status. Maybe not until they have their first baby. If they wouldn't have a baby after a year, I hope I can still spend time with her shopping for 1st anniversary gifts for husband, Jon. Or just spend time bonding and perhaps watch a movie like what we used to do. Of course, things are going to change if their will be a baby already.

My dear Ate is finally going to tie the knot to the love of her life. I wonder how she feels right now. Preparing for the wedding must be very tedious and exhausting. After the wedding, she's gonna be Mrs. Michelle Joy Vinoya! And I'm sure she's gonna be the happiest woman in the world! :D

Giving Thanks To The Almighty! :D

There's so much to be thankful for this year. Although I have gone through difficulties and struggles at times. I still am thankful for all those trials. They made me become stronger and they made me hold on to my Faith all the more.

I'm grateful for this life, for my family and friends. And the blessings that keeps coming my way. I just feel so blessed and loved by the Almighty Father.

Thank You, Lord for this life. Most of all, thank You because I have YOU! :D

Ready For Thanksgiving At Church! :D

Yipee! I'm all set for this Saturday's Thanksgiving at our Church locale! Thanks to Lowela, my shopping buddy, for helping me shop for my outfit tomorrow! :D

I was surprised because the small sized checkered dress fit me well! It's just a simple dress but it does look good on me! LOL! It's really overwhelming when you're able to wear whatever you want to wear. My workout definitely paid off!

Thank you, Lord, for all the blessings! :D

Biggest Loser Asia Season 2

The 24-year-old Viveganandam Deverai also known as Raj of Singapore was the grand winner of the Biggest Loser Asia Season 2. I haven't watch all the episodes of the show but just like all the other contestants, I don't like Raj that much. Although he deserve to win since we all saw how he worked hard for it. He's weight started from 144 kg and amazingly ended at 77 kg on the season's finale. He lost 67 kilograms during the span of the show.

Atikom Laksanapanai (Nai) of Thailand must have been very disappointed because he was won over Raj by only 1 kilo difference! I also thought that he's the one who's going to take home the $100,000 price.

Genghis Khan who has been the clown and the spice of the season 2 of Biggest Loser Asia, and a proud Filipino competitor won 3rd place. He's a natural joker and I really find him entertaining. Thinking about his funny lines and stunts on the show makes me smile and even laugh out loud. Everyone were actually surprised that the stubborn Genghis made it to the final 3.

All three of them are winners. They got their lives back and they seem to be very happy on what they have accomplished. They have become an inspiration to those who are not only overweight but also to those who are averaged people who are wanting to have a healthy life. I bet a lot of the viewers end up enrolling on the nearest gym or for the women who doesn't have the time to hit the gym might try womens weight loss pills to get the figure that they wanted.

As for me, I'd continue going to the gym to maintain good health and good shape.

Dearest Julie,

I'm happy that I have met such a wonderful person like you. You're sweet, kind and generous. You're always there to listen even though most times I make no sense. Thanks for your sweet smile, for laughing out loud with me and for always being there. I will always treasure the friendship we have!

Today, on your birthday, I wish for more happiness that you deserve. Stay sweet and pretty! Always remember that if all else fails, I'll be here for you, my friend!

Love ya, Julalie!

Shopping Is Not My Forte

I have a hard time shopping for shoes and clothes lately. I go back and forth to the malls to make comparisons and I end up not being able to buy any. LOL! I don't know why but shopping is really not my forte. I still need to shop for a dress and a pair of shoes for my cousin, Michelle's wedding and for next week's Thanksgiving Day at our Church. I hope shopping is as easy as comparing life insurance rates online! :D

I still have until next week to shop. I won't be very busy by then, not like this week. I hope I'd be able to find what I wanted for my dress and shoes!

Busy Week!

I haven't had enough sleep this week. I was busy practicing with other singers at work for a party this coming Saturday. There were days that I only get four hours of sleep. This has been a very busy week for me. Come Sunday, I hope I would be able to get enough sleep that I needed.

I didn't have time to do my laundry so I brought them all, including my mattresses at the nearest laundry shop. It's a bit of a relief because I won't have my hands suffer from bruises caused by hand-washed clothes! :D

Today, I was with my team mates in Tagaytay. It was a tiring day! I'll tell you all the details tomorrow on my other blog and maybe post some of the pictures here tomorrow.

For now, I have to hurry and prepare for another practice at the office tonight. I miss dropping for my blogs already. I'll be back online tomorrow, I hope! :D

First Photos On My New Digi Cam! :D

I finally bought my own digital camera!

I was accompanied by my friends - Julie, Pamela and Jinky at the mall after our work last Tuesday. Gadgets were on sale at the mall so we all headed to buy the gadgets that we needed. Julie, Pamela and I focused on the camera for myself. LOL! Thanks girls for helping me choose the right digital camera. Jinky was on her own and bought herself the gadget of her choice. I'm not exactly sure if she bought 1U rack mount for her equipments at home since she's a bit techy. But I'm pretty sure she bought a new phone. :D

Here are the first photos on my new digital camera! :D

Thanks so much girlfriends!!!

Blessings, Blessings And More Blessings! :D

Thirteenth month pay, Christmas bonuses, incentives - these are some of the blessing we get during this time of the year. The malls are crowded with people shopping for gifts for family and friends and for themselves. Some intend to take advantage of gadgets like discount laptop computers, new phones, cameras. Others buy new clothes and some take a vacation at a beautiful place with their loved ones. I want to do all of these this month but I hope I can budget whatever money I have left. It just feel weird because the blessings seem to slip off our hands easily.

For me, it really doesn't matter. Money is created to be spent anyway, isn't it? As long as we're happy and thankful to God for whatever blessings we receive!

Thank you, Lord for your goodness! :D

Special Education - Glee 2 Episode 9

Kurt has transferred to Dalton Academy and sang with the Warlbler's on the sectionals! Sigh! I was wrong! I thought he wouldn't leave! :D

So there he was, backing up Blaine on their version of Train's "Hey, Soul Sister". He doesn't seem like he's having fun, though. But he's cheered on by former Glee Club comrades, during the competition.

I was amazed with the New Direction's set-up during the sectionals! It was like how they did it on last year's regionals. But they highlighted other team member's talents! Quinn and Sam looked really lovely when they sang "I've Had The Time Of My Life". I had LSS (Last Song Syndrome) of that song this morning while I was running my errands! LOL! Quinn is ssoooo pretty!

Santana's, Brittany's and Mike's talents were definitely highlighted during the songs "Valerie" and "Dogs Days Are Over". It was breathtaking! Britt and Mike are awesome dancers!!!

The episode had a lot of drama between Rachel and Finn. Rachel's character irritates me most of the time. LOL! She's supposed to, I guess! I like the scenes where Artie handles the magic comb to Britt because she was anxious of having to dance on the sectionals. I find Britt cute even though she's not intelligent nor smart. Haha!

As always, I'm looking forward to the next episode! :D

Excited About The Holiday Season! :D

Holidays are definitely coming! The weather is colder lately which I am thankful of although it wasn't raining often. Night time at Metro Manila is again colorful because of the outdoor lighting.

Malls are doing a lot of sales lately but then I don't have the time to shop yet. I'm feeling a little dizzy today, I don't even feel like going to the gym. Am I sick or is it the weather to be blamed? :D I hope to feel better later so I can finish running my errands.

What really keeps me excited about this year's holiday season is my homecoming. My vacation leave hasn't been approved yet. But I'm keeping a positive attitude. I'll go on vacation by the end of this month! :D

Going Back To School or Not?

Our company offers free education plan to every regular employees. Those who haven't finished a degree in college yet have the chance to continue their studies. Those who want to just go back to school, get a masters degree or want to get another degree in college can also take advantage of the plan.

One of my colleagues had actually enrolled in college this year. He kept encouraging me of going back to school but I still can't make up my mind. I don't know if I can handle the pressure of school and work at the same time. But it would be really challenging and fun, I guess!

If ever I decide to enroll in college, I might go for a technology course like IT or computer programming. I heard technology jobs offer good pay here in the Philippines and abroad. It would be very useful for my blogging career too, isn't it? Well, it's something I have to really think about. I'll let you know if I make up my mind! :D
