Weekend Planner...

Friday! My most awaited day of the week! Thank God I survived another week of training on the new account at work. It's time for me to relax and have fun this weekend!

I am planning to get a massage tomorrow after doing the household chores. Me and Michelle agreed to watch the movie "He's Just Not That Into You" this weekend and I am excited about it! I heard the movie was based on a book which carries the same title. The story? We're still about to to find out! Lol!

Michelle, Jon and I were invited to a friend's birthday bash this Sunday in Laguna. I just hope we're gonna have fun over there!

As mentioned, my weekend is booked and planned.What about you? What are your plans this weekend?

Sunday Movie - Push

My cousin Michelle's boyfriend, Jon, asked us to watch a movie last night. Me and Michelle wanted to go for the movie He's Just Not That Into You. But since Jon is not into that movie, we opted to go for what he want to watch. So off we went for the action-thriller - Push. Well... I got bored! Geez! The movie never met my expectations! Well, maybe because it's just not my kind of movie. And honestly, I was expecting something like the movie X-men! Lol!

Push is about a group of people who have the abilities of moving objects through their minds, see the future, create new realities, and kill without touching their victims. Some of the protagonists can even kill just by screaming! Nick Gant (Chris Evans) who is a "mover" (has telekinesis), has been hiding from the "Division" for years after his father have been killed. After meeting Cassie Holmes (Dakota Fanning) who is a "watcher" (has the ability of clairvoyance), they set off to find Kira (Camilla Belle) who is a "pusher" (has the ability of influencing other people's minds). Kira has the key to destroy the Division. They'll do what they can do to stop the Division and live a peaceful life.

First 3 of Amercan Idol's Top 12

The first three of the American Idol's top 12 was revealed last night after America voted for their favorite contestants.

The first woman who was able to get through to the Top 12 is Alexis Grace. She did quite well on her performance when she sang "Never Loved A Man". All the four judges gave her affirmative statements after her smooth rendition of the song.


I was quite disappointed with the result since I was vying for Anoop to be one of the first 3 (It's as if I voted! lol! If I lived in the U.S., I would've called and voted for him). I know a lot of viewers liked Anoop, he actually got 24 million votes, but then 20,000 more votes were casted to Michael Sarver who sang a karaoke-like rendition of "I Don't Wanna Be" by Gavin DeGraw. Michael is likable (as what Simon always say) and it seems like his personality as being a hardworking-oil-rigger-family-man plus his being courteous made him get the chance in the Idol.The third contestant who went through was Danny Gokey who sang one of Mariah Carey's greatest songs, "Hero". His story about his wife's passing seem to touch the hearts of a lot of Americans. He's got good vocals too but his style is just like that of David Cook's. I love Cook but I think I want something new for the next American Idol this year.


The most talked about Tatiana Del Toro, as expected, was an emotional wreck last night after the verdict. It looked like her prim and proper "drama" the other night and her pleadings to the public didn't work! Hahaha! I completely agree with Simon when he said this statement to Tatiana the other night - "You are a complete and utter drama queen!".

I'm excited about next week's group of 12. I hope my bet - Megan Corkrey will be at her best and that she'll make it to the top 12.

Routine For Weekdays

I was supposed to go to a birthday celebration last night but I decided otherwise because I was so exhausted yesterday. Well, I am exhausted almost everyday lately but it's fine with me. I have been doing a few little businesses and it actually eats up my time. I've been selling sandwiches at work and also selling a few Avon products to my colleagues.

My routine during weekdays are as follows:

4 am - wake up time
4 am - 5am - prepare the sandwiches and my packed lunch
5 am - 5:30am - time allotted to prepare myself for work
5:30am - 6am - going to work
6am - 2pm - work/training
2:30pm - 6:30pm - blogging
6:30pm - 7pm - get my Avon orders from Avon office
7:30pm - 8:30pm - watch news and my favorite tv shows while preparing the sandwich spreads
8:30 to 9:30 - watch some more tv shows and finally sleep! Zzzzzz...........

Hah! That's basically how my day goes. And I am loving it. Although it's pretty tiring but I felt fulfilled at the end of the day. You might be wondering why I'm doing this. Well, I just want to make some more extra money because I am planning to invest for a laptop and other gadgets I have been wanting to buy. I just hope I won't grow tired yet. Lol! Knowing myself, I've always been not consistent with being hardworking. I hope I can change my *ningas-kugon attitude (*hardworking at first and when gets tired, stops) this time. And I hope later on, I can also make a few profits out of this blog just like my 1st blog - In The Eyes Of The Beholder.

Pass The Love On...

First of all, I want to apologize for not able to update my blog for a while. I've been to busylandia last week, that's why. But I'm going to make it up to you guys!

Let me tell you about my Valentine's Day. Well, like all the other V-days, no date! I was planning to just watch movies at home and update this blog but my persistent best friend Czarina asked me to go to her place and celebrate the V-day with her instead. I was actually hesitant but when she told me that she just broke up with her boyfriend, I hurried to her place which is almost a 2-hour ride from my apartment. I was expecting a crying Czarina, but to my surprise, she was all smiles when I got there. Then she confessed that she and her boyfriend just got back together. Silly, silly girl, isn't she? She let me stay anyway and fill my appetite with the voracious meal prepared by her sweetheart.

To sum it all up, even though I ended up reading the Twilight series that night, my V-day turned out just fine. Thanks Gat! I just hope that I will not be forever loveless every V-day! Lol! Yeah, I'm not ashamed to say that I am a hopeless romantic!

Music Monday - Rehab

At last I'm part of Music Monday!!! Since I've been posting my favorite songs from time to time, I figured, why not join Music Monday instead? Meanwhile, here's a song called Rehab from the troubled singer - Amy Winehouse. She's got great vocals and this song of hers made her win 5 prestigious Grammy awards in 2008. Amy has been controversial due to getting herself into drugs and has been in and out of rehab. She's trying so hard to get rid of crack and cocaine and also tries so hard to keep her marriage with his husband Blake Fielder-Civil who apparently have already filed divorce against her.

I find the melody of this song relaxing and sexy and basically speaks about Amy's life. Here it is! Enjoy!

Marley and Me

Me and my bestfriend Czarina went out to see a movie last Wednesday. We were supposed to watch Brides War but to our dismay, the movie wasn't available in the theater anymore. So we opted to watch Marley and Me which we thought was a romantic-comedy since it was starred by Owen Wilson (as John Grogan) and Jennifer Anniston (as John's wife Jennifer). I haven't had the chance to watch any new movie trailers or synopses lately that's why I never had any idea about this film. I wasn't disappointed, though.

The movie is about a couple who decided to adopt a Labrador puppy on the first year of their marriage. They named him Marley (after the Legend Bob Marley) who turned out to be the world's worst dog! But despite Marley's unique traits (naughtiness, being destructive, and really such a pain-in-the-a$$ dog since he lets his chase him for miles just to prevent Marley from doing further damage) he is loved by John and the growing family. Believe me, you will love him too!

The movie is great because the dog is such a great actor! Lol! And guess what? He even made my bestfriend cry! Hahaha! Peace out Gat! Good thing I mastered the craft of not letting my tears stream down my face or else Czarina would have known that I cried too! Now she knows! A particular scene is really touching and I won't tell which part that is! I won't be a spoiler this time. Lol!

The movie made me think of getting a pet dog but I also realized that taking care one comes with great responsibility. And then I thought otherwise! Besides, dogs are not allowed in our apartment.

Anyways, for those who are planning to see a movie this weekend, I hope this trailer will help you decide whether or not you would want to watch Marley and Me.
